Blood Draw

Colp Building once again teamed with one of their trusted general contractor partners as their Project Manager to relocate an existing Blood Draw from the third floor to the first floor of the UConn Health Outpatient Pavilion. This project had to be timed along with the Women's Health project, so that the Blood Draw could continuously operate. We had to work with some challenging existing conditions for ceiling heights, due to existing HVAC systems, but with great coordination between our teams, the project was a success. We provided 7 new blood draw stations, a Break Room, Reception/Waiting Area, Vitals Station, Patient Restrooms, as well as several offices.
